Type: Bogor cult. (de Kock) 179 (holo BO; iso L, probable, s.n., 1913 and no date 3x).
Stems elongated, branching, laterally compressed, 24 cm by 2 mm, internodes 0.3-0.4 cm long. Leaf sheaths laterally compressed, apex oblique. Leaves erect-patent, laterally compressed, lanceolate-triangular, 1.6-2.1 by 0.26-0.35 cm, rather fleshy, apex acute. Inflorescences axillary, 1-flowered, very short. Ovary 0.15 cm long. Flower c. 0.73 cm long. Dorsal sepal 0.38 cm by 1.8 mm, apex subulate-apiculate; mentum 0.34 cm long, obtuse, retuse. Petals 0.26 cm by 1 mm. Lip when flattened 0.48 by 0.18 cm. Column 0.16 cm long.

Colours: Sepals pale green , in basal half red with narrow green margins, petals pale yellow-green, lip pale green, callus tinged red.
Habitat: Not known, presumably in the lowlands.
Flowering time in the wild: Not known.
Distribution: New Guinea (endemic).

Cultivation: Warm growing epiphyte?.
