Epiphyte, small, stemless; roots filiform, glabrous; leaves usually 3, subpatent, falcate-ligulate, narrowly obtuse or subacute, 4-12 cm long, near the middle 1-1.7 cm wide; Inflorescence racemose, densely several-flowered, about as long as the leaves, peduncle carnose, angular, rachis thickened, angular; bracts broadly deltoid, obtuse, clearly shorter than the ovary. Flowers appearing in succession. Sepals elliptic, obtuse, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely elliptic, obtuse, glabrous, about equal-sized to the sepals. Lip 3-lobed, cucullate-concave, lateral lobes erect, quadrate, obtuse, mid-lobe orbicular, broadly obtuse, in front barbellate-ciliate, as large as the lateral lobes, at the base with two divergent, horseshoe-shaped calli which are dorsally fused. Colours: Flower white, inside violet-pink, lip with orange-yellow callus.
Habitat: Epiphyte in montane forest. Altitude 1300 m.
Flowering time in the wild: January, October.
Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
