Epiphyte, very small. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs ovoid, c. 1 by 0.3-0.4 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf oblong-ligulate, subobtuse, 3.5-7.5 by 1-1.5 cm near the middle; base gradually narrowed. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, covered with peduncle-scales. Floral bracts apiculate, only slightly longer than the ovary. Flowers erect. Sepals oblong, obtuse, glabrous, 0.33 cm long. Lateral sepals connate to near the apex, boat-shaped. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, acute, 0.08 cm long. Lip cuneate-obovate, very obtuse, 0.15 cm long; base shortly clawed, with 2 auricles; margins except for the base very minutely finely ciliate; above the base with trapezoid swollen lines. Column short; stelidia triangular, obtuse; column-foot suberect. Anther helmet shaped-cucullate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 0.08 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1000 m.
