Epiphyte, creeping, creeping, very small, to 6 cm high. Rhizome flexuose, elongated, to 43 cm long. Pseudobulbs crowded, cylindrical, the base somewhat enlarged, curved-ascending, 0.6-0.7 by up to 0.3 cm above the base; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, narrowly ligulate, obtuse, or minutely apiculate, glabrous, 2-3 by 0.35-0.5 cm in the middle; base subpetiolate-narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, single, erect, including the flower distinctly longer than the leaves; peduncle slender, with a few small peduncle-scales, to 2.3 cm long. Floral bract very small, ovate-cucullate, acuminate, many times shorter than the very slender pedicellate ovary. Flower glabrous. Median sepal lanceolate-ligulate, with slightly thickened, laterally compressed, subobtuse apex, 0.7 cm long. Lateral sepals obliquely ligulate, subobtuse, apiculate; outside to the apex keeled, a third longer than the median one, 1.2 cm long. Petals minute, obliquely elliptic, 0.2 cm long; apex rather thick subobtuse, subacuminate. Lip curved, 0.2 cm long; base suborbicular-cordate; apical half tongue-shaped-narrowed; underneath with a high keel. Column very short; stelidia obliquely linear, obtuse, the apex to the back slightly narrowed, in front with a basal triangular lobule; column-foot 0.2 cm long. Colours: Flower yellowish white, with brownish-red stripes.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1300 m.

Flowering time in the wild: March.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
