Small herb, up to 6 cm high. Rhizome creeping, with scattered bracts. Pseudobulbs glabrous, 5-12 mm apart, at a sharp angle to rhizome, narrowly ovoid-fusiform, up to 6 by 1.5 mm, narrowly winged. Leaves erect, coriaceous, glabrous, spathulatelinear, 4.5-5.5 by 0.1-0.3 cm, acute, midrib prominent above but entire leaf V-shaped in cross section, midrib prominent below, lateral nerves several, indistinct. Inflorescence solitary, up to 5 cm long. Peduncle glabrous, slender, up to 4.5 cm long, 3-winged. Bracts glabrous, broadly obovate, up to 2.5 by 2 mm, truncate and apiculate, 1-nerved. Median sepal glabrous, oblongoavte, abruptly acute, 5-nerved. Lateral sepals glabrous, falcate, ovate, 13 by 4 mm, acute, oblique at base, 4- or 5-nerved. Lateral petals glabrous, ovate, 3 by 1.5 mm, acuminate, subhamate in upper parts particularly along upper margin, connate in basal parts, 1-nerved. Lip glabrous, linear-boatshaped, 3 by 2 mm, recurved, with erect, lateral margins, 2-nerved. Column broadly obliquely ovoid, 1.5 by 1 mm, narrowly 2-winged along frontal sides, each of the wings passing into the linear-triangular, up to 0.5 mm long stelidia. Anther oblong, 0.7 mm long, acuminate. Pollinia not seen. Column-foot linear-boatshaped, curved, 2 mm long, at tip with a short, slightly curved appendage. Capsule not seen (After van Royen, 1979)
