Small epiphyte. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs ovoid, 0.5-0.8 cm apart, 0.8-1 by 0.3-0.4 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf elliptic, apiculate, 2.5-3 by 1-1.3 cm near the middle. Inflorescence 1-flowered, very short, covered with peduncle-scales. Floral bracts only slightly longer than the ovary. Flower erect-patent. Sepals elliptic. Median sepal apiculate, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals boat-shaped-connate, 1.2 cm long, apex extended in a 0.7 cm long tail. Petals obliquely suborbicular, very obtuse, 0.1 cm long; apical half sparsely finely ciliate. Lip elliptic, obtuse, 0.25 cm long; base cuneate; margins fringed with clavate hairs except at the base and apex. Column very short; stelidia rhombic, apiculate; column-foot thick, large. Ovary sessile, glabrous, cylindrical, 0.15 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
