Epiphyte, very small, 3-7 cm high, erect. Rhizome stem-like, slightly flexuose, covered with sheaths. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs 0.5-0.8 cm distant, subparallel to the rhizome, cylindrical, 0.3-0.5 by 0.1-0.15 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf erect-patent, obliquely linear-ligulate, acute or apiculate, 0.15-0.25 cm by 0.25-0.4 cm near the middle; base narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, very short, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts apiculate, slightly more than half as long as the subsessile ovary. Sepals ovate, apiculate, 0.25 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely lanceolate, obtuse, glabrous, 0.1 cm long. Lip oblong, obtuse, 0.15 cm long; underneath densely covered with clavate papillae; above pitted; in apical half sparsely papillose-punctate. Column short; stelidia subulate, slightly surpassing the middle of the lip; column-foot at the apex somewhat incurved. Anther oblongoid-cucullate, glabrous. Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1100-1700 m.

Flowering time in the wild: June, September.
