Epiphyte, creeping, to 5 cm high. Rhizome flexuose, terete, elongated, 0.2 cm diam. Roots filiform, flexuose, slender, minutely and densely papillose. Pseudobulbs c. 2 cm apart, oblongoid-depressed, ascending, 0.6-0.7 by 0.4-0.5 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf obovate or broadly oblong, obtuse, fleshy coriaceous, 1.6-2 by 0.8-1 cm at or above the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, solitary from the axils of the rhizome sheaths, erect; peduncle slender, 2.5-3.3 cm long, to the base with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate-elliptic, apiculate, much shorter than the slender pedicellate ovary. Flower in the section median size, glabrous. Sepals ligulate, subobtuse, c. 7-9-nerved. Median sepal to the apex complicate-keeled, c. 1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, c. 1.6 cm long. Petals oblong, small mucronate, near apex of the front margin with one short tooth, hardly 0.2 cm long. Lip curved, in total 0.7 by slightly more than 0.15 cm above the base; basal third fleshy, oblong, grooved, contracted, sigmoid-curved, linear; above the middle somewhat dilated, somewhat concave, obtuse. Column short; stelidia obliquely triangular, obtuse; column-foot moderately long, slightly curved. Ovary slender pedicellate, glabrous, 1.2 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1919)
