Lip elliptic to distinctly spathulate, 0.45-0.55 cm long, index 2-2.5. (After Vermeulen, 1993)

Colours: As for B. olivinum.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 820-900 m.

Flowering time in the wild: May, June, September, October, November.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).

Cultivation: Intermediate growing epiphyte.
