Type: Keysser s.n. (X-1912, Saruwaged Mts., 2400-3000 m) (holo B, lost)

suberect, to 30 cm high; roots filiform, flexuose, slender, glabrous. Stem unbranched, somewhat terete, densely leafy, 10-15 cm long, entirely covered with the striate-veined leaf-sheaths, c. 0.4 cm diam. Leaves erect-patent linear-ligulate, obtuse, 10-12 cm long, near the middle 0.6-0.85 cm wide. Inflorescences from the leaf-axils, erect-patent, a little less than half as long as the leaves; peduncle with several scales, 7.5-9 cm long; rachis densely many-flowered, elongated, to 8 cm long, c. 0.8-0.9 cm diam. across the flowers, weakly flexuose, towards the apex somewhat lax. Floral bracts patent, elliptic, acuminate, the lower ones almost equalling the flowers, upper ones gradually a little smaller. Sepals ovate, obtuse, glabrous, c. 0.23 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base along the front margins a little widened; mentum obtuse, short. Petals obliquely elliptic, obtuse, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip 0.23 cm long; claw short, oblong, concave; blade quadrangular, at the base truncate, apex broadly obtuse and slightly apiculate, inside especially towards the base papillose-puberulous, 0.15 cm long, at the base 0.23 cm wide. Column short; rostellum a little longer than the clinandrium. Ovary pedicellate, clavate, glabrous, c. 0.25 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1919)
