Epiphytic, 24-26 cm high. Roots long, flexuose. Stem almost absent, hidden by the leaf-sheaths. Leaves 3-8, erect or erect-patent, linear, subacute, 10-15 by 0.2-0.5 cm, not narrowed towards the base. Inflorescence densely 70-100-flowered; peduncle slender with a few small scales, 15 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 0.1-0.2 cm long. Flowers glabrous, subpatent. Sepals ovate, obtuse, 0.1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique; mentum almost 0.1 cm long. Petals ligulate, subobtuse, almost as long as the sepals. Lip subrhombic, narrowed at the base, 0.15 by 0.1 cm, apex subobtuse. Ovary clavate, 0.1 cm long, pedicel almost 0.1 cm long. Habitat: Epiphyte in montane forest; 2650 m.

Flowering time in the wild: February.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
