Epiphytic, leafless, small; roots subfiliform, slightly flattened, strongly flexuose, to 15 cm long, 0.13-0.15 cm wide. Inflorescence densely 6-10-flowered, distichous, including the hair-like peduncle to 4 cm long. Floral bracts minute, deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers very small, glabrous. Sepals oblong, subacute, dorsally along the mid-vein subdentate-keeled, 0.25 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base subglobose-cucullate, ovate, acute, as long as the petals, below with a subdentate median line. Column very short, rostellum short. Anther reniform-cucullate, obtuse; pollinia obliquely rhomboid, the stipe half as long; viscidium orbicular, very small. Ovary subsessile, glabrous, c. 0.2 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 200 m.

Flowering time in the wild: July.
