Epiphytic, almost stemless; roots numerous, flattened, dilated above the narrower base, to 30 cm long, 0.25-0.35 cm wide. Inflorescence erect; peduncle slender, to 3-8.5 cm long, densely finely muriculate-hispid, rachis gradually elongating, densely several-flowered, to 5 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, slightly more than half as long as the pedicellate ovary. Flowers opening in succession. Sepals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals broadly and obliquely ovate, obtuse, clearly broader and shorter than the sepals. Lip in outline obovate, somewhat concave, 3-lobed in apical fourth, 0.25 cm long; lateral lobes obtuse, short; mid-lobe semioblong, especially at the apex fleshy, obtuse, very small; spur pendulous, cylindrical, apex clavate-thickened, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. Column short; clinandrium somewhat contracted; rostellum slightly decurved, rather large, apex abruptly bent upwards. Ovary pedicellate, muriculate-pilose, including the pedicel c. 0.4 cm long.
