Basionym: Pedilonum hasseltii.
Notes: We have seen slides, from more than one source, of plants said to be collected in New Guinea that appear to be Dendrobium hasseltii, a common species in Java, Sumatra, and Peninsular Malaysia, but not yet recorded from New Guinea.
