Leaves 0.9-2.2 cm long, glabrous. Sepals 0.18-0.22 cm long. Petals 0.8-0.9 by 0.05-0.06 cm. (After van Royen, 1979)

Habitat: Epiphyte on dead stump in forest remnants in pyrogenic grassland, or on shrubs in swampy terrain; 2700-3200 m.

Flowering time in the wild: May, June.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
