Rhizome creeping, short. Roots filiform, flexuose, slender, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, cylindrical-ovoid or cylindrical, c. 1.5 by 0.3-0.4 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, ligulate, subobtuse, 15-17 by 1.6-1.9 cm near the middle; base narrowed in a 2.5-3 cm long petiole. Inflorescences laxly 2-4-flowered, from near base of the pseudobulbs, erect, almost as long as the leaves, to 12 cm long; peduncle with few distant sheaths, terete, somewhat fleshy. Floral bracts cucullate, apiculate, thin, usually somewhat exceeding the ovary. Flowers similar to Bulbophyllum verruciferum Schltr. and almost as large, glabrous. Sepals oblong-ligulate, subobtuse. Median sepal 2.5 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, outside keeled, 3 cm long. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, subobtuse, acuminate, 0.55 cm long. Lip fleshy, ovate-oblong, obtuse; base cuneate, except the upper side covered with subulate, acute, short warts, 1.6 cm long. Column erect, moderately thick, glabrous, 0.5 cm high; column-foot acscendens, semioblong, hardly 0.2 cm long; stelidia subulate, medium size.
