Rhizome creeping, terete, 0.3 cm thick. Roots terete, glabrous, 0.75-1.25 cm thick. Pseudobulbs 2.5 cm apart, narrowly ovoid-cylindric, slightly compressed, 1-leaved tc, 2536 by 0.5-0.6 cm thick, narrowing to 0.2-0.25 cm wide laterally; apex widened to 0.3-0.4 cm wide laterally. Leaves coriaceous, ligulate, acute, 14.1-14.6 by 1.6-2 cm wide; petiole ungrooved, slightly compressed, c. 1.25 cm long. Inflorescence emerging from base of pseudobulbs, 1-flowered; sheathing and Floral bracts not seen; peduncle 15.3 by 0.13-0.2 cm. Pedicellate ovary terete, 4855 by 0.25-0.3 cm thick. Median sepal ovate-lanceolate, acute, 9-veined, 7 veins somewhat prominent, 4.2-5.1 by 1.5 cm; margin minutely ciliate; with a short basal claw 0.2-0.3 by 0.7 cm. Lateral sepals conglutinate, forming a broadly elliptic synsepal 4.8-5.2 by 2.3-2.5 cm wide and to 0.8 cm deep, V-shaped in cross section at base; apex shortly cleft, each sepal to 1.45 cm wide, each appearing 7-veined, 6 veins somewhat prominent. Petals obliquely ovate-elliptic, acute; margin minutely ciliate, median nerve slightly carinate, 0.6 by 0.35-0.4 cm. Lip 3-lobed, mobile, 0.4 by 0.3 cm wide across the hypochile; hypochile with narrow wing-like lateral lobes which have short oblongtruncate 3-lobulate; epichile above median excavate, in outline above obovate, fleshy. Column semicylindric, dilated in the basal part at base into two fleshy auricles, 0.5 by 0.2 cm thick laterally; stelidia subulate, 0.1 cm long; column-foot with free part 0.15 cm long. Colours: Flower yellow with few small red spots.
