Epiphyte, spreading, to 90 cm long, dichotomously branched. Rhizome stem-like, covered with densely overlapping sheaths. Roots at the base of the stem, filiform, flexuose. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, subparallel to the rhizome, 1-1.5 by 0.5 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf elliptic-ligulate, obtuse, or subapiculate, somewhat fleshy, 8-10 by 2-2.5 cm in the middle; base weakly narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, covered with a few sheaths. Flower glabrous. Sepals lanceolate, caudate-acuminate, 1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely elliptic, obtuse, 0.2 cm long; at the apex shortly notched. Lip somewhat fleshy, triangular-ovate, obtuse, hardly 0.2 cm long; base subtruncate, glabrous; margins in the middle slightly recurved. Column very short; stelidia triangular, truncate, short; column-foot slightly incurved. Anther cucullate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, sessile, 0.4 cm long, glabrous. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Colours: Flower light yellow.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 300-1200 m.

Flowering time in the wild: June, October.
