Epiphyte, very long creeping. Rhizome much elongated, filiform, flexuose. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs 10-17 cm apart, cylindrical, 1.3-1.6 by 0.25-0.35 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, elliptic-ligulate, acuminate, glabrous, 6.5-10 by 1.8-2.2 cm near the middle; base cuneate. Inflorescence 1-flowered, c. 3 cm long, filiform, erect, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, much shorter than the ovary. Flower erect, glabrous. Sepals lanceolate, acute, 1.2 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely obovate-oblong, minutely apiculate, glabrous, 0.3 cm long; apex somewhat finely warty. Lip slightly curved, fleshy, oblong, tongue-shaped, obtuse, 0.6 cm long. Column short, glabrous; stelidia shortly apiculate; column-foot somewhat incurved. Anther reniform-cucullate, umbonate, glabrous. Ovary shortly pedicellate, glabrous, c. 1 cm long. Colours: Flower white. Sepals and petals with pink stripes. Lip golden yellow.

Habitat: Epiphyte on tree trunks in lowland forest; 400 m.

Flowering time in the wild: February.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
