Pseudobulbs close together, very small, 0.9-1 by 0.5-0.55 cm at the base; 1-leaved; base ovoid, contracted in a short neck; older ones longitudinally grooved. Leaf petiolate, narrowly lanceolate, obtuse, or subobtuse, apiculate, fleshy, in total c. 11-16 by 1.65-2.2 cm; petiole c. 2.5-3 cm long; midrib above grooved. Inflorescences several, 1-flowered; pedicel 0.7 cm long. Floral bract tubular, acutely acuminate, above keeled, 0.48 cm long. Flower medium size. Median sepal erect, lanceolate, gradually narrowed, mucronate, concave, inside papillose, c. 1.45 by 0.4 cm; base 3-nerved. Lateral sepals free, divergent obliquely lanceolate, subacute, convex, c. 1.9 by 0.58 cm; base 3-nerved; inside papillose. Petals very small, oblong-triangular, acute, 1-nerved, 0.35 by 0.14 cm; margins thickly ciliate; inside papillose-puberulous. Lip as in the species, 0.35 by 0.14 cm. Column as in the species, 0.33 cm long; column-foot making an almost right angle with the ovary, 0.2 cm long. Ovary pedicellate, c. 6.2 cm long, at 0.45 cm above the base articulate. Colours: Flower white with bluish violet spots, outside greenish.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest.

Flowering time in the wild: November.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
