Epiphyte, long creeping, c. 8-9 cm high. Rhizome elongated, flexuose, terete, hardly 0.2 cm diam. Roots filiform, flexuose, slender, glabrous. Pseudobulbs c. 6-7 cm apart, erect, cylindrical, somewhat narrowed to the apex, 2-2.5 by 0.3-0.35 cm near the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, oblong-ligulate, obtuse, towards the base gradually cuneate-narrowed, coriaceous, 5-6.5 by almost 1.2-1.6 cm in the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, single, from near the base of the pseudobulbs or from the axils of the rhizome scales, slender, erect; peduncle, erect, with few small, very slender, 4-4. 5 cm long scales. Floral bract cucullate-elliptic, acuminate, much shorter than the slender ovary. Flower small for the section, erect. Sepals oblong, shortly acuminate, 9-nerved, inside towards the margins papillose-puberulous, c. 1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong, strongly oblique, 1-nerved, hardly 0.3 cm long; apex somewhat retuse. Lip fleshy, 0.45 cm long; base curved, thickened, cordata, ligulate-narrowed, obtuse, glabrous; base obtuse and shortly auriculate. Column short, very small; stelidia rather long subulate, sharply acute; column-foot somewhat incurved. Ovary and pedicel wiry, c. 2 cm long, glabrous. (After Schlechter, 1921)
