Differs from the typical variety in: Leaves thick fleshy with short narrowed base; flowers longer acuminate-caudate and lip longer. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Colours: Flower white.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 800 m.

Flowering time in the wild: October.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
