Epiplyticum, very small, 3.5-4 cm high. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, flexuose, thin, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, ovoid, 0.3-0.4 by hardly 0.2 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, oblong, subapiculate, towards the base gradually petiole-like narrowed, 2.5-3 by 0.5-0.65 cm near the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, from near base of the pseudobulbs, short, erect, with flower included somewhat surpassing the pseudobulb; peduncle with few sheaths, 0.3-0.35 cm long. Floral bracts ovate, shortly acuminate, almost as long as the ovary. Flower very small. Median sepal almost spathulate-oblong, 3-nerved, subapiculate, 0.3-0.35 cm long. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong, apiculate, up to near the apex connate, almost as long as the median one. Petals very small, apparently oblong, apiculate, glabrous. Lip at the base narrowly elliptic, beyond the middle tail-like narrowed, curved, minutely papillose, almost a third of the length of the sepals; above the base with very small calli; apex antenniform-dilated; margins apparently very minutely papillose-finely ciliate.
