Differs from the typical variety in the larger keels of the sepals. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Colours: Flower outside green, inside with brownish-violet veins. Lip brown.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 800 m.

Flowering time in the wild: September.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
