Type: Giulianetti s.n. (British New Guinea) (holo BRI)
Stems climbing, angular. Leaves sessile, oblong, tapering at both ends, thin (when dry), 25 cm long, 6 cm wide; parallel longitudinal nerves close and numerous, about 21. Fruiting raceme stout, about 10 cm long, the lower bracts nearly orbicular; capsule curved, 20 cm long, 2 cm diam., smooth, fleshy, the sutures grooved.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
Distribution in New Guinea: Papua New Guinea, locality unkown.
Note: Described from a fruiting fragment. This will probably remain a doubtful species.
