Differs from the typical form in the elliptic lip without appendage and in the shorter column-foot. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Colours: Flower greenish yellow, column-foot purple-red.

Habitat: Epiphyte in montane forest in shaded positions. Altitude 900 m.

Flowering time in the wild: October.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
