Epiphyte, with creeping, elongated rhizome to 10 cm long. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, obliquely ovoid, 0.4-0.6 by 0.3-0.4 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf oblong, subapiculate, 1.8-2.5 by 0.6-1.1 cm near the middle; base somewhat narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, short, up to 0.3 cm long, covered with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate, apiculate, only slightly longer than the ovary. Flower erect, not resupinated. Sepals lanceolate, acute, glabrous, 0.45 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, to just below the apex boat-shaped connate. Petals obliquely ovate, acute, glabrous, 0.15 cm long. Lip 0.25 cm long; base elliptic; apical part indistinctly 3-lobed, narrowed into an elongated, lanceolate, very shortly and finely ciliate tip. Column short; stelidia triangular, apex subtruncate; column-foot rather long, lightly curved. Anther reniform-cucullate, glabrous. Ovary sessile, cylindrical, glabrous, 0.1 cm long. Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 700 m.

Flowering time in the wild: May.
