Epiphyte, pendulous, branched, entirely glabrous, to 35 cm long. Rhizome stem-like. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs distant, oblique, cylindrical, appressed to the rhizome and high adnate, c. 1 by 0.2-0.3 cm. Leaf erect-patent, obliquely ligulate, apiculate, 1.5-3.5 by 0.4-0.7 cm. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, with few inconspicuous peduncle-scales. Floral bracts apiculate, as long as the ovary. Flower glabrous. Sepals oblong, obtuse, hardly 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, almost connate up to the apex, boat-shaped. Petals obliquely oblong, obtuse, 0.18 cm long; apex somewhat incised. Lip subrhombic-elliptic, broadly obtuse, 0.18 cm long; base cuneate; below the obtuse apex sublobulate-narrowed. Column very short; stelidia oblong, obtuse, large; column-foot almost straight, rather long. Anther cucullate, dorsally truncate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 0.13 cm long. Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 400 m.

Flowering time in the wild: October.
