Rhizome 0.2 cm thick. Pseudobulbs stem-like, covered with finely fibrous sheaths, 2 cm long; base thickened. Leaf lanceolate, obtuse, coriaceous, keeled, 12 by 1.7 cm; base narrowed; apex shortly acuminate; petiole 2 cm long. Inflorescences 20 cm long, erect, robust. Flowers 3-4, secund, medium size; in the basal part with cylindrical acuminate 0.6 cm long peduncle-scales. Floral bracts tubular, 0.5 cm long; apex lanceolate, acute, cuspidate. Sepals lanceolate, acuminate, subequal. Median sepal narrow, 1.9 by 0.2 cm; base densely red-punctate; apex yellow. Petals lanceolate, triangular, acuminate, as long as the column. Lip, short, yellow, 1.5 cm long; blade cylindrical to spindle-shaped, deeply grooved above, margins coarsely denticulate; base 0.2 cm wide; with 2 rounded, erect lobes near the base, upper surface densely covered with linear, flattened, forked hairs except near the apex. Column rather large, 0.4 cm long, with narrow base, upper margin winged; column-foot short; stelidia short, lanceolate, obtuse. Anther large, erect, oblong; apex rounded.
