Basionym: Bulbophyllum subcubicum

Rhizome to 40 cm long. Pseudobulb.s 0.9-2 cm long. Leaf blade 1.1-6 cm long. Inflorescence 0.6-1.6 by 2-6-flowered. Median sepal 0.1-0.2 cm long, index 1.52.2. Lateral sepals 0.15-0.24 cm long, index 1.3-2.3. Petals 0.06-0.13 cm long, index 1.6-3.3. Lip 0.04-0.09 by 0.04-0.09 cm, index 0.7-1.6. (After Vermeulen, 1993)

Colours: Sepals and petals greenish, yellowish or white; also pinkish. Lip whitish,yellow, orange or red.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 0-2100 m.

Flowering time in the wild: April, July, September, November, December.

Distribution: Malesia (Borneo, Sulawesi, New Guinea, Philippines).

Cultivation: Intermediate growing epiphyte.
