Epiphyte, slender, pendulous, 10-15 cm long. Rhizome stem-like, unbranched. Roots basal, filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, subparallel to the rhizome, 0.5 cm distant, 0.3 cm long; 1-leaved. Leaf lanceolate-ligulate, acute, somewhat fleshy, 1.3-2.5 by 0.2-0.35 cm near the middle; base narrowed. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts acuminate, as long as the ovary. Flower glabrous. Sepals narrowly lanceolate, strongly acuminate-caudate, 0.35 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals minute, ligulate, 0.05 cm long; apex unequally bilobulate. Lip narrowly oblong-spathulate, obtuse, glabrous, 0.13 cm long; base emarginate. Column very short; stelidia very short, triangular; column-foot fairly long; apex somewhat incurved. Anther cucullate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, sessile, e. 0.1 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 250 m.

Flowering time in the wild: July.
