Type: Schlechter 19992 (holo B, lost)

Differs from the typical variety in the slightly sinuate margins of the lip, and in the column being thicker towards the apex. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Colours: Flowers white.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 20 m.

Flowering time in the wild: August.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
