Type: Kloss s.n. (Camp 6a, 3100 ft.) (holo BM).
Pseudobulbs crowded, 1-leaved, cylindrical-conical in basal third, slender in apical two thirds, 3 cm long. Leaves linear, 5 by 0.2 cm, apex acutely bilobulate. Inflorescences terminal, 1-flowered; spathe lanceolate, 0.6 cm long, acute. Pedicel and ovary 2 cm long, very slender. Flower c. 5 cm across. Sepals triangular at the base, long caudate upwards, 3 cm long; mentum 0.3 cm long, obtuse. Petals linear at the base, filiform upwards. Lip oblong, 0.5 by 0.15 cm, with 3 wavy keels converging towards the apex, apex rounded. Column short, stelidia erect, tooth-like, filament linear. Anther conical.

Colours: Flower white, lip with a purple patch on each side and yellow keels.
Habitat: Epiphyte in hill forest. Altitude 950 m.

Distribution: New Guinea (endemic).

Cultivation: Intermediate growing epiphyte.
