Type: Bogor cult. (Djibdja) s.n. (Irian Jaya, North coast) (holo BO [probably, s.n. (1906), no coll.])
Leaves 14-24 by 4.5-6.2 cm. Lip spur strongly inflated-clavate, depressed, 1.6 cm long, 0.58 cm wide, obtuse, slightly retuse. Column at the apex broader than in the typical variety. (After Smith, 1907).

Habitat: Not known, probably terrestrial in lowland forest.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
Distribution in New Guinea: Papua (Indonesia).
Cultivation: Warm growing terrestrial, keep in shade.
