Epiphytic, pendent, 25-30 cm long, several-stemmed. Stem flexuose, sheathing at the base, laxly 6-8-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, linear-lanceolate, subfalcate, acuminate, equitant, sheathing at the base; sheath with long connate margins, 6-7 cm long, 0.6-0.7 cm wide. Inflorescence cylindrical, densely many-flowered, 5-7 cm long, 0.4 cm diam. across the flowers. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, a little shorter than, or as long as the pedicellate, ovary little. Flowers almost whorled, minute, c. 0.3 cm diam. Median sepal ovate, obtuse, 0.15 cm long, glabrous. Lateral sepals obliquely ovate, subobtuse, as long as the median sepal but broader. Petals narrowly oblong-ligulate, obtuse, as long as the median sepal. Lip ovate, base cordate, concave, narrowed towards the apex, obtuse, almost 0.2 cm long, at the base 0.1 cm wide. Column short, rather thick. Anther obreniform. Ovary subcylindrical, shortly pedicellate, , very minutely puberulous. (After Schlechter, 1905)

Colours: Flowers greenish yellow.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 250 to 600 m.

Flowering time in the wild: January, August.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
