Type: Schlechter 17172 (holo B, lost)

Entirely intermediate between the parents. Differs from Oberonia diura in that the petals are more spathulate with dentate margins towards the apex, as in 0beronia forcipifera. The narrowly ligulate, apically bicaudate and apiculate lip is intermediate between the parents. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Colours: Not recorded.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 400 m.

Flowering time in the wild: January.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
