Epiphyte, very slender, to 35 cm high. Rhizome creeping, flexuose; roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. pseudobulbs 1.5-2 cm apart, cylindrical, erect, 1-leaved, c. 2 cm high, below the middle 0.3 cm diam., gradually somewhat narrowed to the apex. Leaf erect, obliquely and narrowly ligulate, acute, petiole 1.5-2 cm long; blade c. 12 by 1 cm. Inflorescence very slender, rather stiff, to 35 cm long, with a few distant peduncle-scales; rachis distichous, several-flowered, gradually elongating, slightly flexuose, to 2.5 cm long. Floral bracts folded, falcate-erect, ovate, acuminate, dorsally strongly keeled, about half as long as the pedicellate ovary. Flowers opening in succession. glabrous. Sepals reflexed, narrowly lanceolate, long-acuminate, 3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals small, obliquely ovate, obtuse, at apex irregularly crenulate, the apex itself produced into a 0.15 cm long subulate hair, without the hair 0.3 cm long. Lip narrowly linguiform, 1.6 cm long, when flattened between the lateral lobes 0.4 cm wide, near the middle 0.35 cm wide, acute, margins slightly undulate, near the base on either side with a short, semi-oblong, obtuse lobe, in basal third with two keels, the keels crenulate, originating from the margin in front of the lateral lobes, decurrent towards the keels on the mid-lobe, and merging with these. Column straight, 0.4 cm long; stelidia very short; column-foot medium-sized, slightly incurved at the apex. Ovary with pedicel slender, glabrous, c. 1 cm long (After Schlechter, 1921)
