Rhizome elongated, stem-like, especially to the base, perforating the pseudobulbs, between the pseudobulbs terete, c. 40 by 0.26 cm. Pseudobulbs part rhizomes 0.6-1 cm long separated, largely adnate to the rhizome, c. 1.2-1.4 by 0.3-0.38 cm; he free part appressed, subcylindrical, to the apex slightly swollen underneath strongly concave; 1-leaved. Leaf oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, apiculate; base shortly or gradually narrowed and very shortly subconduplicate, above on either side of costae the middle above grooved, underneath subprominent convex, fleshy-coriaceous, c. 3-6.7 by 1-1.1 cm. Inflorescences 1-flowered, from the nodes of the rhizome; peduncle very short, 0.1 cm long, entirely covered with small, delicate, tubular sheaths. Floral bract obliquely tubular-funnel-shaped, apiculate, keeled, 0.28 cm long. Flower very small, 0.7 cm wide. Median sepal oblong-obovate, subulate-apiculate, concave, 3-nerved, 0.44 by 0.22 cm; margins except the base finely ciliate. Lateral sepals widely patent, obliquely ovate-triangular, subulate-acuminate, concave, 3-nerved, 0.45 by 0.23 cm; facing margins incurved and minutely finely ciliate. Petals very small, parallel, obliquely oblong, subfalcate, obtuse, lower margin above the base lobuliform-dilated, convex, 1-nerved, 0.18 by 0.08 cm; margins recurved, except the base finely ciliate. Lip mobile, above the base obtusely angled, recurved, front part straight, in outline broadly oblong, weakly 3-lobed, in total 0.24 by 0.13 cm; base longitudinally grooved, inconspicuously narrowly bilobulate, small keels 2 very small above in a small channel; basal part with erect, angular-rotund, concave lateral lobes, above minutely papillose; front part (mid-lobe) when seen from above oblong-triangular, obtuse, above convex; underneath cushion-like-thickened, long pilose, on either side with a lateral longitudinal groove, underneath slightly longitudinally grooved; apex slightly extended, thick fleshy. Column 0.18 cm long, with wide, transverse, retuse-bilobed apex; stelidia much longer than the anther, subulate, sigmoid; stigma longitudinal, oblong; column-foot making a right angle with the ovary, straight, thick, apex for a short part free and on either side dilated in a slightly incurved, rounded lobule, 0.1 cm long. Anther cucullate, obtuse; connective convex-thickened. Ovary 6-grooved, 0.13 cm long; pedicel 0.23 cm long. (After Smith, 1916)
