Rhizome creeping, 0.15-0.2 cm diam. Pseudobulbs ovoid, 0.5-0.7 cm apart, 1.4-3 by 0.5-0.7 cm, hardly flattened. Petiole 0.7-1.4 cm. Leaf blade elliptic, 6.3-7 by 1.9-2.3 cm, index 2.7-3.7; tip acuminate. Inflorescence pendulous, 35-47 cm, 1-flowered; peduncle 22-35 cm. Floral bracts c. 5. the longest 0.7-0.8 cm. Floral bracts tubular, 0.6-0.7 cm long; tip acuminate. Pedicel and ovary 3-4.5 cm, with the node 4.5-6 mm from the floral bract. Flowers moderately opening. Median sepal ovate, 6.5-7 by 0.7-0.8 cm, index 8.8-9.3; tip caudate, thin, glabrous. Lateral sepals free, 7-8.5 by 0.8-0.95 cm, index 8.7-9; otherwise as the median sepal. Petals oblique, ovate, 0.12-0.15 by 0.1-0.12 mm, index 1.2-1.3; tip acute, thin, glabrous. Lip slightly curved, general outline ovate, c. 1.5 by 0.25-0.27 cm, index 5-5.6 (not spread); tip approximately acute, margins approximately glabrous, thick; adaxially with a distinct basal concavety, basal teeth somewhat converging, not touching tip, basal part of the lip slightly concavee, with an inconspicuously median ridge; surface glabrous, gradually passing into the top part of the lip, top part of the lip with a distinct, rounded median crest; surface somewhat transversely wrinkled; abaxially approximately without a median ridge; surface slightly papillose towards the base, transversely wrinkled towards the tip. Column from ovary to the tip of the rostellum 0.3 cm; rostellum distinctly protruding; stigma elliptic, not protruding at its base. Column-foot with a distinct, approximately straight, rounded central knob above to the attachment of the lip. Anther abaxially with a ridge towards its tip; front margin somewhat protruding. Colours: Sepals white with thin, pinkish purple veins. Lip white, slightly creamcoloured adaxially towards its base. Column pale yellow.
Habitat: Epiphyte in montane forest; 2000 m.
