Type: Kloss s.n. (Camp 3 to 8, 2500 to 4900 ft.); (Camp 13, 10500 ft.) (syn BM)

Rhizome slender. Pseudobulbs 2 cm long 0.3-0.4 cm diam.(when dried), close together, cylindrical, 2-leaved, covered with pale acuminate cataphylls with crisped margins. Leaves linear, narrowed to the apex, obtuse, 5 by 0.2 cm. Inflorescence lateral, 9-16 cm long, peduncle about half the length of the inflorescence, with 4 distant, acuminate, keeled up to the tip, 1 cm long or less; rachis many-flowered. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, the lower ones 0.3 cm long, long acuminate, as long as the ovary, the upper ones smaller. Median sepal lanceolate, acuminate; mentum short, conical, obtuse. Petals triangular, acuminate. Lip with a long upwards curved, linear claw; blade transversely elliptic, rounded, at the towards the base the claw shortly narrowed. Anther ovate, rounded. Pedicel with ovary 0.2 cm long, with wavy keels. (After Ridley, 1916)
