Epiphyte, stout, c. 30 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs cylindrical-ovoid, 3.5-4 by c. 1 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, oblanceolate-oblong, shortly acuminate, 25-28 by 5.5-6 cm above the middle; base gradually narrowed into the channelled, 4-5 cm long petiole. Inflorescences 1-flowered, several, from near base of the pseudobulbs, erect, not surpassing the Pseudobulbs; peduncle short, c. 2 cm long, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate-ovate, subobtuse, acuminate, much shorter than the slender pedicellate ovary. Flower small for the section, glabrous. Sepals oblong-lanceolate, subobtuse, 1.3 cm long. Lateral sepals subfalcate-oblique. Petals obliquely ligulate, the apical half rhombic-lanceolate, subobtuse, 0.3 cm long; midrib outside keel-like-thickened. Lip strongly curved, rhombic-ovate, 0.3 cm long; front third somewhat narrowed, obtuse; the middle obtusely 2-ribbed. Column short; stelidia obliquely lanceolate, obtuse, for of the column magnitudine satis large; column-foot ascending, somewhat longer than the column. Ovary pedicellate, glabrous, up to 2 cm long.
