Rhizome elongated, branched, probably pendulous with ascending tips, entirely covered with tubular sheaths. Roots appressed to the rhizome. Pseudobulbs c. 1.5-2 cm apart, appressed to the rhizome, oblong, in front concave, in rehydrated herbarium material many-ribbed, 0.5 by 0.22 cm. Leaf lanceolate, obtuse, slightly retuse, base shortly contracted and conduplicate; blade concave, dorsally convex, thick fleshy, rigid, when flattened c. 2.8-3 by 0.78-0.8 cm, 0.2-0.23 cm thick. Inflorescences from the nodes of the rhizome, fascicled, 1-flowered; peduncle thin, 0.25-0.35 cm long; entirely covered with small membranous basal sheaths c.0.33-0.37 cm long. Floral bract conspicuous, ovary surpassing in length; base tubular, triangular acute-apiculate, laterally compressed, strongly concave, 0.25-0.27 cm long. Flower 0.6 cm long. Median sepal near base oblong-triangular, extended into a long linear-filiform top part, 3-nerved, in total 0.7 cm long; dilated part 0.23 cm long; slightly more than 0.1 cm. Lateral sepals near base obliquely triangular, top part linear-filiform, long-extended, 3-nerved, 0.68 cm long; basal part almost 0.2 by 0.1 cm. Petals very small, oblong, apiculate, 1-nerved, 0.13 by almost 0.03 cm. Lip small, mobile, above the base strongly recurved, basal part with margins erect rounded, channelled in between, front part porrect, convex but slightly concave in centre, underneath convex, 3-nerved, when flattened in outline elliptic, slightly 3-lobed, with a claw almost 0.15 cm long; lateral lobes 0.08 cm wide, rounded, mid-lobe orbicular, 0.05 by 0.06 cm. Column very short, without the anther 0.07 cm long; clinandrium concave, apex triangular; stelidia triangular, as long as the anther. Anther cucullate, suborbicular, truncate; connective slightly thickened, almost 0.05 cm wide. Pollinia orbicular. Rostellum a thin membrane; stigma conspicuous, inversely triangular, long decurrent along the column-foot, deeply concave. column-foot making an obtuse angle with the ovary, hardly incurved, apex somewhat slender and a little recurved, slightly more than 0.1 cm long. Habitat: Epiphyte in full sun.
