Rhizome elongated, pendulous, branched, fasciculate, flexuose, c. 47 cm long, especially at the base densely rooting. Roots thin. Pseudobulbs separated by rhizome sections 0.45-1 cm long, almost over hteir entire length perforated by the rhizome, terete, c. 1.2-2.4 by 0.25-0.35 cm diam.; apex free, appressed to the rhizome, hardly swollen, 0.2-0.4 cm long; underneath concave. Leaf linear, obtuse, obtuse, apiculate, c. 3.8-6.5 by 0.43-0.6 cm; base gradually narrowed and conduplicate, midrib dorsally prominent, when dried thinly coriaceous. Inflorescences from the nodes of the rhizome, fascicled, short, 1-flowered; peduncle 0.6 cm long, with few small, proximally tubular scales. Flower c. 2.1 cm long; with subparallel sepals. Median sepal ovate-lanceolate, slightly concave, apex caudate, 3-nerved, c. 1.9 cm by 0.27 cm; 0.8 cm long without cauda. Lateral sepals obliquely lanceolate-triangular, slightly concave, caudate, 3-nerved, 2.3 by 0.25 cm, 0.93 long without cauda; front margin in the basal part papillose. Petals very small, porrect, vertical, appressed to the column, obliquely spathulate-oblong, narrowed towards apex, obtuse, glabrous, 1-nerved, 0.24 by 0.12 cm. Lip attached by a very short, narrow ligament, mobile, small, slightly curved, simple, somewhat fleshy, glabrous, 3-nerved, in outline obovate-oblong, slightly subtriangular-contracted towards apex, 0.3 by 0.15 cm; base rounded; proximal part with somewhat incurved margins, concave, underneath convex; distal part convex, underneath slightly concave; apex rounded. Column very short, 0.08 cm long; clinandrium concave; stelidia long, porrect, somewhat surpassing the anther, subulate, slightly upwards falcate. Anther cucullate, suborbicular; apex shortly rounded-extended; connective convex, 0.05 cm wide. Stigma deeply concave, suborbicular; column-foot making an obtuse angle with the ovary, short, straight, thick, oblong-quadrangular, rounded-truncate, inside towards the base slightly swollen, almost 0.1 cm long. Colours: Flower light yellow.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1200 m.

Flowering time in the wild: October.
