Pseudobulbs apparently 1-leaved at the apex, the cataphylls also carrying a leaf-blade. Leaf articulated, linear-lanceolate, at the apex probably shortly bidentate or bilobulate, at the base narrowed conduplicate, thin-coriaceous, 15.5-22.5 by 1.35-1.55 cm; leaf-sheath tubular at the base, in the apical part conduplicate, prominently nerved, 3-8 cm long. Inflorescence densely many-flowered; peduncle 23.5-31 cm long, peduncle-scales 8-9, tubular, the upper ones more distant and bract-like, to 2.2-3.4 cm long; rachis when dried angular, 11-15 cm long. Floral bracts clasping the pedicel, 5-angular, subacute, 0.35-0.5 cm long. Median sepal about semi-elliptic, almost 5-angled, from the broad base narrowed to near the middle, obtuse, concave, 1-nerved, slightly more than 0.23 cm long, 0.2 cm wide. Lateral sepals obliquely triangular, along the front margin dilated at the base, obtuse, slightly concave, 1-nerved, 0.27 cm long, along the front margin 0.36 cm long, at the base 0.28 cm wide. Petals obliquely ovate or rhombic-ovate, obtuse, somewhat concave, 1-nerved, 0.22 by 0.14 cm. Lip attached to the apex of the column-foot, surpassing the column, 3-nerved, shortly clawed; claw concave, spurred above the base; spur conspicuous, incurved, porrect, straight, oblong, rounded at the apex, extending to the middle of the blade, 0.11 cm long; blade porrect, channelled-conduplicate with the sides convex, when flattened at the base shortly and broadly cuneate, triangular, at the apex shortly narrowed, obtuse, with somewhat irregular margins, inside puberulous, almost 0.3 cm long, 0.23 cm wide. Column dorsally convex, including the anther 0.15 cm long; clinandrium deeply concave, truncate; rostellum porrect, deeply divided into two subulate, parallel segments. Stigma conspicuous, semi-orbicular; column-foot making an acute angle with the ovary, oblong, nearly 0.1 cm long. Anther cucullate, triangular, bilobed at the base, with the lobes bilobulate. Ovary (fertilised) obconical, 0.36 cm long; pedicel thinner, 0.14 cm long. (After Smith, 1934)
