Roots 0.15-0.2 cm diameter. Rhizome creeping 0.9 cm diameter, internodes between stems 6. Stems 3.5 cm apart, 103 by 0.4 cm, angular, internodes 18, 4.7-7.5 cm long; 10-leaved. Cataphylls 9. Leaves petiolate; sheaths 5.5-6 cm long; petiole 4.5 cm long; blade 29-37.3 by 4-4.8 cm, index 7-8, linear-lanceolate, base cuneate, apex acuminate, glabrous, with 5 prominent veins underneath. Inflorescence 73 cm long, 40-flowered. Peduncle 45 by 0.4-0.44 cm, pubescent, internodes 6, 1.4-12.5 cm long; peduncle scales 0.2-3.1 cm long, tubular, apex obtuse to acuminate, sparsely pubescent; rachis 28 by 0.3 cm, densely pubescent, internodes 42, 0.2-8.8 cm long. Sterile bracts 2; floral bracts 0.61 by 0.41 cm, broadly lanceolate, apex acuminate, densely pubescent, with 8 distinct veins. Flowers 2.1 cm wide. Median sepal 1.2 by 4.1 cm oblong-lanceolate, apex subacute, moderately abaxially pubescent, above half to apex thick in texture, 7 distinct veins. Lateral sepals 1.1 by 0.41 cm, oblong-lanceolate, falcate near apex, base oblique with short lobule, apex acuminate, pubescent, with 7 distinct veins. Petals 1.1 by 0.26 cm, lanceolate, base broadly cuneate, apex acute, sparsely pubescent at base on both sides, moderately thick in texture, lateral margin thin, with 5 distinct veins. Lip in total 0.9 by 0.53 cm, adnate to column-foot with basal lamellae, quadrangular, with 10 distinct veins, at the base with a small sac, formed by the column-foot and the lip base, 0.1 cm long; with two basal lamellae, grooved along the median on adaxial side, on the adaxial side with two thick keels, hill-shaped at base to gradually decurrent on the apex, lateral margin in basal half thick, entire, apex abruptly truncate, in the middle with 0.11 cm long, triangular, acuminate acumen; glabrous. Column 0.6 by 0.2 cm, clavate, sparsely abaxially pubescent; stigma obdeltoid, rostellum orbicular. Anther glabrous, with a long keel. Pollinia 0.1 by 0.05 cm, half round in lateral view. Colours: Flower yellow with red dots.

Habitat: Terrestrial in lowland forest.

Flowering time in the wild: October.
