Epiphytic, apparently much branched. Branches rather rigid, many-leaved, entirely covered with the very tightly clasping, finely warty leaf-sheaths. Leaves erect-patent, linear-lanceolate, 3-5.5 by 0.5-0.7 cm, at the apex unequally and rather obtusely bilobulate, somewhat fleshy-coriaceous, glabrous, base shortly attenuate. Floral head nodding, oblongoid, about 1.5 cm long, 1 cm across, spathes falling off. Floral bracts elliptic-cucullate, almost as long as the ovary. Flowers glabrous. Sepals elliptic-oblong, 0.5 cm long, apiculate, lateral sepals at the base saccate-concave, connate to above the middle. Petals obliquely obovate, obtuse, almost as long as the sepals. Lip at the base subglobose-saccate, blade subquadrangular, 0.3 by 0.28 cm, broadly obtuse, carnose, at the base slightly narrowed, spur almost half shorter than the blade. Column short, stigma very broad, clinandrium dorsally obtusely triangular. Ovary cylindrical, sessile, 0.4 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1922).
