Rhizome elongated, slender, 0.15 cm thick. Pseudobulbs 2 cm apart, ovoid, 0.5 cm long, covered with 2-3 lanceolate, cuspidate, to 4 cm long sheaths, 1- or 2-leaved. Leaves narrowly linear, acute, grass-like, 22 by 0.4 cm. Inflorescence slender, ancipitous, 19 cm long, without peduncle scales; rachis to 3 cm long and 0.8 cm wide, c. 34-flowered. Floral bracts distichous, approximate, lanceolate, acuminate, acute. Sepals oblong, lanceolate, obtuse, finely mucronate, keeled, deflexed, 0.4 cm long. Petals oblanceolate, narrower than the sepals, 0.3 cm long. Lip sessile, 0.3 cm long, broadly oblong, quadrangular, rounded at the apex, minutely 3-lobed; lateral lobes rounded; mid-lobe equally long, linear, the sides near the base compressed into two false lobes; callus large, fleshy, rounded, bilobed. Column short, curved, not marginate, lateral wings near the stigma rounded, obtuse. Pedicel and ovary 1 cm long, slender. Fruit 0.6 cm long, oblanceolate, keels somewhat prominent; pedicel 0.6 cm long. (After Ridley, 1916)

Colours: Flowers apparently green.

Habitat: Probably epiphyte in hill forest; 759 m.

Flowering time in the wild: Not recorded.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
