Rhizome creeping, rooting, terete; sheathing. Pseudobulbs 0.25-0.3 cm apart, making an acute angle with the rhizome, obliquely ovoid with several longitudinal grooves, between the grooves convex, 0.85-0.9 by 0.450.6 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf oblong, obtuse, slightly apiculate, c. 1.6-2.8 by 0.65-0.8 cm; base very shortly contracted and conduplicate, obtusely angled, channelled; margins recurved, coriaceous. Inflorescences 1-flowered, from the base of the pseudobulbs; peduncle filiform, more slender than the pedicel, 0.45 cm long, in the basal part with few small, tubular scales. Floral bract tubular, 0.15 cm long. Flower from above subelliptic, c. 1.3.5 by 0.95 cm. Median sepal at the base patently incurved and parallel with the lateral sepals, lanceolate, subulate-acuminate, concave, fascia median longitudinal ochrish; margins ciliate; nerves 3 dark purple dorsally prominent, 0.95 by 0.3 cm, over the cilii 0.43 cm wide. Lateral sepals much larger, the facing margins except for the apex united in a synsepal, in outline subelliptic, concave, obliquely ovate-oblong, obtuse, dorsally near the apex extended in a short, laterally compressed, obtuse, conical apicula; inner margin finely ciliate; nerves 4 dorsally prominent, somewhat fleshy, c. 1.4 by 0.56 cm. Petals parallel, porrect, the front margins divergent, obliquely oblong, slightly falcate, obtuse, slightly more than 0.5 by 0.2 cm; front margin at the base slightly dilated; margins rather broad, inside along the margins with a band of papillae. Lip small, mobile, short, thick, conspicuously curved, 0.2 by slightly more than 0.1 cm; base on either side extended in an auricle-like, recurved, obtuse lobule; apex obtuse; margins strongly reflexed, forming an obtuse angle near the apex; upper side longitudinally channelled, delimited by high papillose keels; underneath with a small, to the base dilated channel; sides patent, pubescent. Column straight, 0.24 cm long; apex obtuse; stelidia distinctly surpassing the anther, subulate, slightly falcate. Anther high cucullate, laterally compressed, apex incurved gibbose and truncate. connective clearly ribbed-thickened, yellowish-white, 0.05 cm long. Pollinia oblong, slightly falcate, somewhat translucent yellow.; stigma longitudinal, oblong; column-foot making an obtuse angle with the ovary, its apex incurved and abruptly dilated, 0.14 cm long. Colours: Pseudobulbs, shiny, pale green, older ones suffused purplish. Leaf opaque, green; underneath pale. Peduncle pale dirty green. Median sepal somewhat shiny, white; margins white-ciliate; nerves 3, dark purple. Lateral sepals inside shiny, dorsally opaque, orange-yellow. Petals, somewhat translucent white, stripes longitudinal median duplicate violet and on either side stripes spotted dark violet near the apex broadly merging ornata. Lip pale yellow, the top part except the apical margins blackish, the rest minutely blackish-punctate. Column pale yellow-green; stelidia white; column-foot yellowish. Ovary with 6 longitudinal, blackish stripes; pedicel pale.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest.
