Epiphyte, to 45 cm high. Rhizome flexuose, slender. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, laxly spaced, to the base somewhat swollen, erect, 3-4 by 0.4 cm above the base; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, obliquely oblanceolate-ligulate, acute, coriaceous, 22-27 by 2.5-3.7 cm above the middle; base gradually weakly narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescences ultimately rather densely many-flowered, slender, rigid, with a few small peduncle-scales, much longer than the leaves, to 45 cm long; raceme gradually developing, slightly flexuose, to 8 cm long. Floral bracts distichous, ovate, acuminate, falcate-conduplicate, shorter than the pedicellate ovary, to 0.6 cm long. Flower glabrous. Sepals narrowly lanceolate, acute. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base the front margin somewhat dilated, with the column-foot forming a short, obtuse, 0.4 cm long mentum. Petals minute, obliquely ovate, acute, 0.35 cm long. Lip narrowly lanceolate-ligulate, 0.7 cm long; base extended in 2 very small, falcate-oblong lobes; apex truncate, subcrenulate; the quarter basal part from the base with 2 obtuse, decurrent keels. Column short, rather thick, the apex shortly bicuspidate, 0.45 cm long; column-foot narrow. Ovary pedicellate, glabrous, 0.7 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1923)

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 200 m.
