Epiphytic, erect or patent, up to 40 cm long, branched. Stems and branches rather rigid, slightly laterally compressed, leafy, entirely covered by the close-fitting leaf-sheaths. Leaves linear, acute, sharply and rigidly pointed, thick fleshy, at the base shortly petiolate-attenuate, glabrous, 1.5-2 cm long, in the middle 0.2-0.25 cm wide, dorsally keeled; leaf-sheaths truncate at the apex, sparsely verruculose-rugulose, capitulum nodding, several-flowered, at first enveloped by a soon-withering sheath. Floral bracts minute. Flowers glabrous. Sepals elliptic, apiculate, about 0.7 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base connate in basal fourth. Petals at the base cuneate-subunguiculate, suborbicular, broadly obtuse, as long as the sepals, above the middle 0.5 cm wide. Lip suborbicular-quadrate, broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long and wide, spur broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long, as wide as the blade of the lip. Column short, less than half as long as the lip; clinandrium 3-lobulate, median lobule large, subdentate, lateral lobules small, unequally bidentate. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, about 0.5 cm long. Habitat: Epiphyte in upper montane forest. Altitude 2400 m.
